Ahmed Anwar is the Head of Construction at Prometheus Hyperscale and a dynamic engineering leader with 18 years of experience spanning Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) across data centers, power plants, and critical federal infrastructure.Â

Prior to joining Prometheus Hyperscale, Ahmed served as the Manager of Construction at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he led a high-performing team delivering hyperscale data center projects across multiple states, with a portfolio exceeding 2 GW of capacity.Â

Ahmed's career reflects a rare breadth of expertise — from his early years as a Systems Engineer and standing watch as an Operation’s Shift Technical Advisor (STA) at Dominion Energy's North Anna Nuclear Power Station, to senior roles at Bechtel, and ultimately to AWS, where he delivered operational excellence at scale. Â
He holds a Master of Engineering in Engineering Management from Penn State, a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech, and credentials including a Professional Engineering (PE) license, Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.Â

Outside of work, Ahmed is a devoted husband to Tasnima and father to their two sons, Ayden and Noah. An avid golfer and passionate traveler, he has explored 32 countries across five continents — and is always planning the family's next adventure.Â
