Mark Wilson

Mark Wilson is a seasoned energy executive with over 30 years of experience driving structured origination, finance, and strategic partnerships across the energy sector. Currently serving as the Vice President of Power and Partnerships at Prometheus Hyperscale, Mark leads initiatives at the intersection of large-scale power infrastructure and advanced digital markets.


Throughout his distinguished career, Mark has held senior leadership roles at some of the world’s foremost energy and financial institutions. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Power Origination at BP, where he aligned power strategies with global low-carbon and net-zero initiatives.


His previous leadership portfolio includes tenure as Senior Vice President of Origination at Macquarie Group, Senior Director of Origination at Direct Energy, and Director of Structured Transactions at TXU Energy, where he notably established a highly profitable wholesale trading operation in the ERCOT region in less than a year.


Mark possesses deep geographic and regulatory expertise across major North American power markets, including ERCOT, PJM, CAISO, WECC, NYISO, and NEPOOL. His core capabilities span structured transactions, credit and risk management, debt and equity finance, and market fundamentals.


Mark holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance and Economics from James Madison University.
