Trevor Neilson

President

Trevor Neilson is President of Prometheus Hyperscale, where he leads capital formation strategy and the structuring of long-term tenant agreements that underpin the company's development of next-generation AI infrastructure campuses in Wyoming.

At Prometheus, Trevor has driven the architecture of anchor tenant relationships with leading AI companies, negotiating complex, large-scale agreements that provide the contractual foundation for multi-billion-dollar infrastructure investment. His work sits at the intersection of commercial real estate, energy, technology and infrastructure— translating long-term tenant commitments into bankable capital structures capable of attracting institutional debt and equity at scale.

Trevor has led the company's engagement with investment banking partners to develop the financial frameworks necessary to fund hyperscale data center campuses, including the structuring of special purpose vehicles, project-level debt facilities, and the underwriting logic that supports multi-gigawatt development programs.

In parallel with Prometheus' development program, Trevor founded Build Wyoming — an initiative dedicated to positioning Wyoming as the premier hub for AI infrastructure investment in the United States, engaging state leadership, energy producers, and institutional capital partners to build the policy and physical infrastructure necessary to support the next generation of compute demand.

Prior to Prometheus, Trevor co-founded and served as CEO of WasteFuel, a company converting waste into biofuels that attracted BP, Maersk, and NetJets as lead investors, and co-founded and served as CEO of i(x) Net Zero alongside Howard Warren Buffett, a sustainable infrastructure investment platform focused on deploying capital into climate-critical sectors. He served in Bill Gates' family office, was a founding team member of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and served in the Clinton White House and has advised governments, sovereign wealth funds, and global institutions on complex financial and philanthropic initiatives throughout his career.

Trevor is committed to ensuring that Wyoming's extraordinary energy resources and open lands become the foundation for an enduring American technology platform — one that creates lasting economic opportunity for communities across Wyoming and is built on capital structures designed to last generations.
